Dress Jeans
Description
Based on 1970s Rodeo Association Jeans, they have a higher rise, and a shaped leg like Savile Row bespoke trousers. These are "old school" jeans, not a trendy fit - whatever that is. We have tried to create the ultimate dress jean to be worn with tailoring. There are no fancy acid washes or abrasion details. We believe the wearer should leave his own marks on the jeans, and let their character develop over time.
The jean features on seam coin pockets as the original rodeo jeans, so nothing can fall out, triple needle inside leg seams, deeper belt loops along with our stronger pentagonal middle belt loop, that usually takes all the strain.
The same attention to detail as on bespoke trousers can be seen on the taped fly seams, the waistband extension with hand sewn corozo buttons, and the shirting quality internal waistband, that is a lot softer than the typical turned denim waistband.
The 7.5 Oz fabric has a hint of stretch for comfort and to retain shape. The fabric is pre washed in an industrial washing machine which removes 99% of the shrinkage, and only then are the jeans cut, ensuring consistency of fit. The jeans size is the actual size of the garment. It is best to measure the waistband of your dress trousers.
Made of 98% cotton 2% elastane, outside of Porto, Portugal.
The jeans have approximately a 43 1/2" outside leg with a 33" inside leg, and 15 3/4" cuff
