Our shirts are a little different from the traditional Jermyn Street offering - we don’t just make classic business shirts. We work with a few innovative mills who provide us with butter soft knits, sumptuous cotton cashmeres, washed denims, historical aertex, crisp linens, lively prints and seersuckers to just name a few of the fabrics we work with. We cut these in to long sleeve, short sleeve, Cuban, polo, safari, T and overshirts.
Our shirts are cut by hand from paper patterns in our small workshop. They feature full bias split yokes which allow more movement across the shoulders, mother of pearl or corozo buttons, single needle stitching throughout which gives a far cleaner finish, and our side seams are reinforced with our signature pentagonal gussets.
At the initial meeting, fabric, fit, collar and cuff shape and stiffness, details like the front finishing, buttons, pockets and their contents, size of watch and many other factors such as physique of the wearer, where the shirt will be worn and laundered, will be discussed and taken in to account when creating your shirt pattern.
After the first shirt has been fitted, any changes are noted and the paper pattern is updated. There is a minimum order of 5 shirts for made to measure and 8 shirts for bespoke. Prices for bespoke shirts start from £475, made to measure shirts start from £375.
