Cashmere Woven Scarf Navy

This yarn dye navy cashmere scarf was woven in Yorkshire from Mongolian cashmere, by a firm of weavers who have been weaving for over two and a half centuries. We consider them to be the best English cashmere weavers out there. They are different from our Scottish weavers, in that the fabric has even more body, and is denser, which make them less springy, and marginally not as soft, but warmer. The differences are so marginal, we are really splitting hairs here.

The ripple finish is created by gently brushing hand harvested Italian teasels across the surface. The blankets are pressed with a specially created brown paper, an old technique, to give a lustrous glossy sheen. 

All this results in a cashmere that is incredibly soft and hard wearing, and the dense weave keeps you warm. A perfect present for oneself or a loved one.
