After the excellent reception of our first quilted jacket in cotton, that was restocked multiple times, we decided to make a wool version for colder days.
Crafted from English wool and quilted in England, this jacket provides warmth in a very light weight package. It features our signature curved barchetta pockets and a patch ticket pocket. The edges are trimmed in Brisbane Moss fine wale corduroy. It is shaped and waisted and cut from a jacket block as opposed to most quilted jackets that are flat and shapeless and cut from shirt blocks.
The fit is body conscious but not restrictive. The coat length makes it ideal for running errands and one doesn’t sit on the coat when seated, but is long enough to protect one’s bottom from the cold.
These jackets will not be repeated as there is no more fabric available. Get them while they are you can. A great weekend jacket, available in navy and grey.

To celebrate the opening of our new Salzburg store, we created our version of a tracht or traditional Austrian / Bavarian jacket. Traditionally these jackets have been ornate, thickly padded and lined. We have removed all of that and created our version on the basis of our popular barchetta blazer. There are no shoulder pads, no internal structure, no lining, nothing. Shape and form is created through skillful cutting and sewing. The jacket is closer in feel to an overshirt than a jacket.
