The colours of il Tricolore are said to represent the green of the country's plains, the white of the snow-capped Alps and the red of the blood spilt during the Wars of Independence - or indeed the three virtues of hope, faith and charity. 

Either interpretation, our Tricolour is knitted in Italy with Italian merino yarn - especially particularly popular with our Italian clients and supporters of Italian football clubs!
